1 SMALL SAUCEPAN
NO BAKE REQUIRED
It doesn’t get easier than this!
I’m all for quick recipes that don’t require a lot of tools and effort but still taste delicious and look great!
The truth is that I’m awful at baking! My husband still remembers the time when we just started dating and I made him a banana bread that tasted like misery and raw flour.
Ever since my cooking skills have improved a lot, but baking is still off limits. So here’s the easiest chocolate tart recipe that literally requires NO BAKING SKILLS!
FOR THE CRUST
300g thinly crumbled cookies (I like to use digestives cause they’re a bit salty)
1/2 cup (110g) melted butter
FOR THE GANACHE
2 bars (200g) milk chocolate
1 bar (100g) bittersweet chocolate
1 cup (200 ml) heavy cream
Place the crumbled cookies into a bowl and add the melted butter. Stir until the butter has evenly spread in the cookie crumbs. Use your fingers or the back of a wooden spoon to press the crust mixture into the bottom and edges of a small tart pan. Freeze 5 minutes while you prepare the ganache. Place cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until it gets hot (not boiling). Remove from heat, add the chopped chocolate and let it rest for a few minutes, then stir until everything is evenly mixed. Pour the ganache over the crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
